Senior staff posts include nominated officer roles, namely: Health and Safety Officer; Child Protection Officer; Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCO); and Early Years Foundation Stage Officers (EYFS) .
All staff and volunteers undergo enhanced DBS checks.
Staff Training:
The staff are very enthusiastic about extending their knowledge of Playwork and staff training is regularly reviewed, with staff being actively encouraged to attend relevant training on offer. For example, courses recently added to the training portfolio are: Health and Safety in the Workplace, Managing Behaviour and The Great Outdoors.
Our senior staff are all level 3 qualified. All of our staff have completed their core training in First Aid, Safeguarding Children and Basic Food Hygiene and Early Years Foundation Stage and these are updated regularly in compliance with related regulations.
